Tony DeSare "If I Fell"

Tony DeSare - the terrific jazz artist has the soul of Frank Sinatra and the vocal strength of Billy Joel always amazes me as a musical fan. I came across Tony a few years back when looking for fresh sounds and artists within the jazz genre. I have been very happy since that my musical journey led me to Tony's music.

iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/if-i-fell/id889068173?i=889068174
Official Website: http://www.tonydesare.com/

From my initial education on Tony was his 2005 album entitled; "Want You" which lent itself to his album; "Last First Kiss" in 2007 with these two harking back to his jazz musical roots. Tony also plays the piano and does a grand job with mastering it on his albums where they feel as if he went back in time to record in the old school style of a large band and doing all of the recording sessions all together. Tony continued to bring me and other on his journey upon releasing; "Radio Show" in 2009 which was fantastic. I love to this day the feel of this album from start to finish where Tony wanted a feel of the old recording sessions and the sound of the old microphones and I love it. One album that I truly enjoy listening to over and over. Which then brings us to his most recent album being; "PiANO" in 2013. Tony's take on "I Love a Piano" where the music video takes him through the exciting of New York City playing all types of pianos along with; "New Orleans Tango" "Just One Of Those Things" & "Faithfully" are all done in Tony's style with sophistication.

Tony has one awards for being the "Rising Star" male vocalist along with his widely successful appearances at noteworthy venues such as; Carnegie Hall, performing in Las Vegas with Don Rickles and all over the world including Japan, Australia, and Hong Kong.

I am also pleased to announce that Tony has a brand new single entitled; "If I Fell" which is out now as a single via iTunes and other major sites. This song is written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney where The Beatles originally sung. This time Tony makes this ballad his own and at the same time pays respect to Lennon/McCartney and their musical genius. "If I Fell" is another artfully done track by Tony which if you are a new listener or a long time fan as I am you will not be disappointed and will look forward to Tony's full length album which we hopefully will get very soon. No fears if you would love to hear Tony perform live he will be in NYC this fall and all over the United States through out the year.

Shaliek pours his Blood Sweat Tears

Shaliek - a New York City native brings back his true musical roots with his latest album entitled; Blood Sweat Tears. This has been a project where I can say it has been a long time coming. We finally get to hear Shaliek being showcased in the genres such as a smooth R&B that he belongs to. His voice lends itself to the classic soul sound that is for me music to the ears.

The current album which is out now does just what I am many others are looking for bringing Shaliek back to where his voice belongs and sounds best. In the past Shaliek has collaborated with heavy hitters as; Alicia Keys and The Underdogs. Unfortunately, for Shaliek it has been a bit of a rough road where his previous full length album never was released where it gave the performer doubts as anyone would. After the first project was shelved, Shaliek went ahead and focused for several years on writing music for other singers. Finally, a new opportunity presented itself that he could present his own musical gems in his own vocals and deliver it the way he intended them to. Influential musicians for Shaliek is one of my all time favorite legends Sam Cooks where when listening to "Blood Sweat Tears" one can clearly hear him pay homage.

I highly recommend this soulful album that will take you on a classic music ride!

Chris Burke and his soul!

Chris Burke - has some great brand new material that showcases his soulful side. This Nashville based singer/songwriter has a lot of amazing projects going on along with new material for his fans. The way that I came to truly enjoy Chris's vocals is by his amazing soaring vocals in soul music which is one of his much awaited projects, his soul album! This soul project has some of my all time favorite's such as "Mercy Mercy Me" (made famous by Marvin Gaye), "Human Nature" (the great track from Michael Jackson), "Here And Now" (the beautiful song from Luther Vandross), "That's Where It's At" (a terrific song made famous by Sam Cooke) along with many more.

Chris Burke is one of our "Artist in Residence" where we will continue to follow all things involving this truly gifted artist. This up and coming soul project is a labor of true love for Chris where the music was meticulously chosen for a well thought out and high quality product. Chris also while recording this album worked with Bobby King whom is a true legend in his own right. Bobby King is a Philadelphia native who breaths Philly soul music. As a touring guitarist and bassist for noteworthy singers such as Tanya Tucker, John Berry, Holly Dunn and many others. John is always busy with doing session work for other greats like Double Exposure and The Soul Survivors. As a producer and recording engineer, Bobby King is able to stay true to his musical roots of Philadelphia and continue his passion in the musical industry. "The Beat!" will assuredly release another article upon this soul album's release.

Additionally, Chris has a brand new music video for his hot track; "Roller Coaster Ride." This track is great and the music video does it justice! I love seeing Chris truly love doing his passion which is music and this video shows just that. The music video showcases the very likeable Chris dancing and having fun on his ride with this track. I truly enjoy seeing Chris Burke in all areas of his music background being pop, r&b, soul and others. If you are just for the first time discovering Chris Burke's music do yourself a favor and listen to the up-coming soul project sampler along with his original penned track; "Roller Coaster Ride" and music video. These two items in themselves will widen your eyes and have you become an instant Chris Burke fan!
